First Grade

Hi, My Name is Laurie Reichert and I am the 1st Grade Teacher at Valley Christian.  I have been teaching here at VCS since 2000.  Yes, this is my 22nd year!  I love teaching!  I believe God gave me a heart for first graders.  My husband and I farm southwest of Torrington and I have 2 grown children we raised on the farm.  I believe that teaching is a lot like farming: you carefully plant the seed - tenderly nurture and watch it grow - and eventually it will bear fruit.  Each year is an exciting journey and I look forward to what God has planned.
