Pre-School

HI, I'm Mrs. Michelle Rising, and I teach the 3–4-year-old preschool classroom known as the Busy Bees.  This is my 17th year at VCS where I have served in several roles, including the former Preschool Director.  I received my Education at Chadron State College.  I feel very fortunate to do what I love every day and teach little children about Jesus.  When I'm not in my classroom I can be found spending time with my family.

 I was born in California to an Army family.  My parents, brother, and I have lived from Germany to Kansas to Montana and back again (and other places in between). Dad retired and we settled in Wyoming in 1990.  I have a son with my wonderful husband of almost 20 years.  We have lived in Torrington going on 11 years and have been a part of VCS for almost 10 years.  I have volunteered at Waggin Tails Animal Shelter for almost 9 years.  I love to crochet and other crafts.  I have known the Lord since I was 10.
